This policy covers components we use to make our basic, deluxe, lightweight and ultra ranges and BBwear manufacturing defects.

28 Day Money Back Guarantee

This guarantee policy is valid as of 13/02/2020.

Our 28 day guarantee covers BBwear clothing products from the basic, deluxe, lightweight and ultra range only.
No quibble exchange or refund within 28 days of purchase if you are not completely satisfied with any standard BBwear garment from the basic, deluxe, lightweight and ultra range (unfortunately this excludes custom cut to measure items).
There are two returns processes, one for online BBwear sales and one for dealer and shop sales, please choose the applicable process as outlined below.

If you purchased the suit from BBwear.co.uk online it should be returned within 28 days of purchase to the BBwear address for a refund or exchange, see returns policy.

A returns number must be requested from BBwear within 28 days of purchase of the product.
Claims under the Satisfaction Guarantee are limited to one per customer, per calendar year.
Satisfaction should be determined through normal use of the product and care instructions must have been followed.
This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or burn holes from smokers.
Products must be returned in a clean, dry and undamaged condition to be accepted.
A credit will be issued following satisfactory receipt of the product, completed returns form/number and proof of purchase.
BBwear reserve the right to amend or cancel this policy at any time, and to reject any claims submitted under the policy.
If for any reason the request is refused we will provide you with an explanation for that decision and will return your item to you should you wish for it to be returned.

If you purchased your suit from a BBwear dealer or shop you should return the suit within 28 days to the shop or dealer it was purchased from for a refund or exchange.

Thank you for purchasing BBwear’s protective clothing for beekeepers. Below are the warranty policy details offered by BBwear's free warranty.

Warranty Definition

BBwear provides this warranty to buyers who purchased BBwear protective clothing. BBwear protective clothing is guaranteed against most manufacturing or material defect(s) for the warranty period as defined below. BBwear products are compliant with their description and specifications; it is your responsibility to ensure that the products you purchase are compatible for the intended use.
This warranty is valid and enforceable only in the country where the product was purchased by the end user, provided that BBwear has intended the product for sale in that country.

Depending on the country, particular and variable warranties may apply in relation to applicable legislation. Nothing in this warranty policy can exclude or limit these statutory provisions.

Warranty Period

The duration of the warranty period is as follows;

• 5 years free warranty on brand new BBwear clothing items.
• 1 year free warranty on BBwear "Pre Loved" (second hand refurbished) items.

The warranty period starts at the date of retail purchase of the product by the original end-user purchaser only.
To the extent permitted by national laws, the warranty period will not be extended, renewed or otherwise affected due to subsequent resale, repair or replacement of the product.
However, part(s) repaired or replacement product(s) during the warranty period will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period provided replacement or repair has been performed by BBwear or an authorised BBwear retailer. Depending on the country, particular and variable warranties periods may apply in relation to applicable legislation. Nothing in this warranty policy can exclude or limit these statutory provisions.

Warranty does not cover:

• Damages due to smoker burns
• Damages due to the products normal wear and tear
• Damages due to modification of the products
• Damages due to storage
• Damages due to improper use of the products and poor maintenance
• Damages due to any impact caused by sharp items, due to torsion, compression, a fall, an abnormal impact or other actions that cannot be under BBwear's reasonable control
• Damages due to transportation

The present warranty is not enforceable if :

• The product has been modified or repaired by any person or entity other than BBwear or an authorised BBwear retailer
• The product has been repaired with unauthorised spare parts
• The product logo/serial number has been removed, deleted, altered or made illegible

Warranty Exclusions

Thumb loops, ankle, wrist, waist and back elastics are not covered under this warranty. Elastic only has so much elasticity and length of life depends on how much it's used and how far it's stretched.

Products manufactured by BBwear which are NOT BBwear branded or Co-Branded are excluded from this Long Life Guarantee and warranty.

Warranty Enforcement

In case of defect, BBwear agrees to accept the claim, replace or repair the product at no charge for the end-user and return it, see returns policy. This shall be determined in the sole discretion of BBwear or their authorised retailer, unless this is impossible or disproportionate.
The remedy will be deemed to be disproportionate by BBwear if it imposes costs on BBwear which, in comparison with the alternative remedy, are unreasonable, taking into account :

• The value the goods would have if there were no defect
• The significance of the defect
• Whether the alternative remedy could be completed without significant inconvenience to the consumer

BBwear agrees that all repair or replacement of the product will occur within a reasonable period and without any major inconvenience for the consumer, taking account of the good’s kind and its fitness for purpose.

The consumer is not entitled to have the contract rescinded if the defect is minor.

For all warranty claims, please produce the product and the proof of purchase to the nearest authorised BBwear retailer.
