Wash Guide

Caring for your suit

• All BBwear suits are machine washable. Hoods should be hand washed to prolong the life of the veil.
• At the end of the season we recommend that your suit is washed and dried thoroughly.
• Keep your suit indoors to prevent mold appearing (this is the first stage of rotting and cannot be removed once it has appeared).

Hoods

• We recommend hand washing all hoods as this will prolong the life of the veil.
• The BB hood (fencing style) is machine washable on a low heat and gentle spin.
• Hand Wash or Machine Wash 40 degrees, short spin.
• We suggest the hood is detached and put inside the sleeve of the suit, this will protect it when on the spin cycle.
• The retro hood is NOT machine washable.

Poly/cotton range (67% Polyester/33% Cotton)

• Hand Wash or Machine Wash at 40 degrees, medium spin.
• Tumble dry.
• Iron.
• Do NOT use bleach.
• Do NOT dry clean.

Lightweight range (100% Polyester)

• Hand Wash or Machine Wash 40 degrees, short spin.
• Drip dry.
• Do NOT iron.
• Do NOT tumble dry.
• Do NOT use bleach.
• Do NOT dry clean.

Ultra range

• Hand Wash or Machine Wash 40 degrees, short spin.
• Drip dry.
• Do NOT iron.
• Do NOT tumble dry.
• Do NOT use bleach.
• Do NOT dry clean.

Tips

1. To help remove propolis pop your suit or gloves in the freezer until you can chip it off. A weak solution of bicarbonate of soda may also help.
