BBwear COVID-19 Policy

Keeping you safe! Our commitment to you.

It is no secret that the outbreak of COVID-19 is raising concern across the world. Here at BBwear we are treating the health and safety of our customers and staff as our top priority and we have been and will continue to monitor the situation very closely.

While we always pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, sanitary, work environment, we are taking extra measures in the recent outbreak. These measures include regular sanitisation in each work area and throughout common areas, the distribution of disinfectant wipes among our staff, and additional concern for keeping ourselves, our office, and our products clean and germ-free.

The World Health Organization states "Because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures." The virus is able to live up to 24 hours on card boards and between 3-4 days on plastics and metals. Having recently changed our suit packaging to cardboard in an effort to do away with single use plastics, garments dispatched by us should not be an issue. However the use of plastics on some items is unavoidable, things like wax foundation comes in a plastic sleeve, and plastic items such as feeders. We are maintaining very high levels of hygiene and sanitisation, however if you are worried about these plastic and metal products please consider leaving them in the packaging for up to 3 days. This is down to your own discretion if you are worried about your parcel, we are sanitising products as we pack them and our staff are wearing gloves when handling products, for your safety. With regards to local customers, we are now operating click and collect service, our shop will remain open for sales and collections, however we are locking the doors, and asking local customers to do click and collect, or call us and order over the phone and we will bring the goods out to you.

We have an aging team here at BBwear, including our mother and father, and we are doing our utmost to protect every member in our team and family, as well as our customers. We are proud to say that all of our team members have remained healthy during this time. We are not taking the situation lightly here at BBwear and will continue to do everything that we can to make shopping with us a safe experience.

We at BBwear thank you for your continued support.

Best Regards from the Bright family, Belinda, Mike, Paul, Steve and James.

We are now making none profit face masks, all profits and donations are going to the NHS emergency appeal for COVID-19.
